The eclipse will pass over each of ADC’s three offices on August 21st so all offices will be celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime event!
- Each office is having a PIZZA LUNCH at 12PM on 8/21!
- Around the peak of the eclipse, join your cohorts in the parking lot for this once-in-a-lifetime event.
- We don’t expect you to just stand around waiting for the world to go dark. Each employee is getting an ADC CHAIR!
- AND, so you can look at it, everyone is getting SAFETY GLASSES (HR requirement to protect against Worker’s Comp claims).
- Please invite your family and friends to join us (we have extra glasses). But if you would rather see this once-in-a-lifetime event somewhere else, we understand. Either use PTO to take off the day or part of it, or you can make up the time during the Aug 16-31st pay period (up to 5 hours). Please let your department head know in advance for any time you will be out.
The times of the eclipse for each office are:
Hanahan: 1:17pm to 4:10pm with the peak being at 2:47pm
Columbia: 1:13pm to 4:06pm with the peak being at 2:43pm
Greenville: 1:09pm to 4:03pm with the peak being at 2:39pm
