Each of these individuals has demonstrated strong leadership, a commitment to client service, and a meaningful impact on ADC’s team and culture. Their advancement reflects both their contributions and their investment in the future of the firm.

“Please join me in congratulating Jennifer, John and Clay on becoming the most recently added shareholders of ADC,” said Chris Cook, President of ADC Engineering. “This is a significant milestone and a reflection of their leadership, commitment, and the impact they’ve made across ADC.”

Jennifer Papa is the Lead Project Coordinator at ADC Engineering, bringing over 11 years of experience with the firm. She began her career at ADC as a Project Coordinator in the Structural Engineering department, later left to pursue other opportunities, and returned five years later as a Project Coordinator supporting the Civil and Landscape teams. Through her dedication and expertise, she has advanced into her current leadership role and now leads Project Coordinators across all disciplines and offices. Jennifer and her team support project execution by assisting engineering teams, coordinating schedules, managing project details, and ensuring clear communication across all phases of work.

Jennifer has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional growth, earning both a Construction Management Certificate and an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. This combination of hands-on experience and technical education enhances her ability to contribute to complex projects and deliver successful outcomes. Known for her organization, attention to detail, and reliability, she remains a steady and dependable presence within the team. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and reading a good book.

John Brandon serves as Director of Business Development at ADC Engineering, where he has been a key part of the team for over 12 years. In his role, he represents the firm throughout the AEC industry, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partner firms. He believes those relationships are central to both sustaining and growing the business. John is proud to be part of a team he describes as both talented and dependable, and he is motivated by the opportunity to build on ADC’s long-standing success.

Outside of work, he stays busy with family life, often shuttling kids between baseball, dance, golf, and sporting clays. ADC represents the longest tenure of his career, a testament to the people, the quality of work, and the pride he takes in being part of the firm.

Clay Cannon is a Senior Project Manager and Vice President within ADC Engineering’s Civil Engineering department. Prior to joining ADC nearly two years ago, he worked closely with many members of the Columbia team during his time as Vice President of RB Todd & Associates, where he spent nearly seven years. Clay specializes in commercial, institutional, and recreational site design projects, with a particular passion for community-based work.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Clay is actively engaged in serving his community. He participates in advisory committees supporting local K-12 school districts, is involved with A4LE (Association for Learning Environments), and contributes his time to a local high school booster club. He currently serves on the Town of Chapin Planning Commission and is also a member of his church building committee. Outside of work and service, Clay enjoys cheering on the Clemson Tigers across all sports, spending time on Lake Murray or in the outdoors, and spending time with his Labrador, Jagger.

At ADC, becoming a shareholder represents a long-term commitment to the firm’s people, clients, and future. Jennifer, John and Clay embody that responsibility and will continue to play a key role in the firm’s growth.
