Building Momentum: New Faces in ADC’s Structural Department

We’re excited to share some big updates from our Structural Engineering Department. This year, we’ve welcomed six new team members to our Charleston office, each bringing a unique mix of experience, talent, and fresh perspective. Their addition strengthens our ability to tackle complex projects and continue delivering thoughtful, durable design solutions.

With these hires, ADC’s Structural Department now totals 19 team members, including 14 based in our Charleston office.

Hannah McKool, SE, has joined us as a Project Manager with 11 years of experience. Hannah has worked on high-profile structural projects around the country including 830 Brickell and Una Residences in Miami, and a full renovation of 1250 Broadway in New York City. Her experience in complex lateral systems and major renovations adds depth to our senior team.

Jeremy Williams, PE has rejoined ADC as a project manager with more than 20 years of experience in consulting engineering . He has led the design of multi-story buildings across a range of sectors including commercial, higher education, government, and healthcare, and brings expertise in both new construction and renovations. Jeremy is licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia and is a graduate of The Citadel and the College of Charleston.

Christian Carter, PE joins us with 8 years of experience in structural design, detailing, and analysis. He’s worked with a variety of materials and has designed for high seismic and wind conditions. Christian holds a BS in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering minor from the University of Alabama. Jack Standing recently graduated from The Citadel and brings strong technical fundamentals along with a collaborative approach to design work.

JP Kerney, Justin O’Brien, and Sullivan Clair are all recent graduates of Clemson University. Sullivan has also earned a master’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural systems. This group brings energy, curiosity, and a strong grasp of current tools and technology.

According to Mark Dillon, PE, SE, President and Principal Structural Engineer at ADC, “Bringing in this mix of experienced professionals and emerging talent helps us keep our edge. We’re growing with purpose, making sure we have the right people in place to support our clients and tackle the challenges ahead.”
